Greyhound's teeth are notoriously bad as a result of a sloppy diet and muzzling. Regular cleaning with an approved dog toothpaste and brush will prevent most dental problems. Some greyhounds will not tolerate having their teeth cleaned in this way, so a marrow bone given approximately once a week will prevent plaque from building up. Chews and bones can clear scale and strengthen gums. Pig's ears are also a great favourite.
